Is 5Linx A Total MLM Scam? For Most People…YES!(5Linx)

That’s right… for most aspiring entrepreneurs who join 5LINX, it will have the same results as your run of the mill pyramid scheme SCAM.
If you have already joined the ranks of 5Linx IMRs or are just about to join that statement might seem disheartening. It shouldn’t! For many of you, You have just stepped out of your comfort zone to claim your piece of the pie. I applaud you! You are 3 steps ahead of all the fearful ones who only talk about building wealth. The problem is many of you will not be properly trained to attain the success you desire and deserve.

But before we get into that, a little background on 5Linx.
5Linx began with quite a lot of buzz when they first launched in 2001 with their innovative telecommunications products. Although the initial hype and growth spurt of 5Linx is mostly over, they still occasionally are on the horizon with a new product innovation, or they get written up in a home business magazine of one sort or another.
As a brief introduction to 5Linx and their product line – they offer wholesale pricing on VOIP technology as well as an assortment of other internet based communications products. They also re-sell satelite tv, broadband internet, and mobile phone service.
Is 5Linx the answer to your financial problems? Maybe…. Maybe Not.
Although I am a strong proponent of the MLM profession, I would not recommend getting involved with 5Linx (without proper training – Free 5Linx Training Here).
Before I get 10,000 angry emails from 5Linx representatives, let me briefly share with you why I won’t recommend anyone join this company without some real training in Attraction Marketing.

There are two reasons I can’t wholeheartedly recommend 5Linx:
Simply put, I would be very careful when spending any significant time or energy on any company that relied solely on technology products. I also would not want to try to build a new multi-level marketing (MLM) business using old tired strategies.
First, technology based products are great for traditional business, but not so good for network marketing because of the negative price pressure of the marketplace.
As any technology matures the products and services tied to that technology will become less and less valuable as market forces and competition take effect. This is nature of technology. It moves very fast and no matter how great your product is, there’s always a copy cat ready to replicate and undercut you in the market.
Look no further than the recent past as proof. Can you name one company that has ever succeeded long-term with any kind of technology based product? And by long-term I mean more than 25 yrs (You do want your residual checks to keep when you actually retire?) Eventually they all fall apart with pressure from their competitors. You remember Excel, don’t you? They had some people earning some of the biggest checks in MLM history. NOBODY thought that they would ever go out of business. Even though this is true, natural market forces collapsed Excel and swallowed it whole – collapsing the incomes of hundreds of thousands of distributors in the process. 5Linx is no exception. In ONE YEAR from 2006 to 2007 the average 5Linx income fell by more than 50% based on official 5Linx statistics.
On a fundamental economical level – when costs of technology go down from increased technological ability and market competition – 5Linx has to pay you less money to stay in business.
Second, I’m sure that you’ve gone to meeting after meeting and training after training hearing the same tired “3 foot rule”, “get your list of 100 friends and family”, “private business opportunity meeting at your home” strategies that worked for everyone 15 years ago but now only work for a chosen few. The truth is, network marketing is a leader and leadership driven business, and only really works if you have a captive audience of followers. So the old way really works for those who already is this position, either they have already shown leadership and success in another business or endeavor, giving them a built-in captive audience who already believe in them.
But what about you. You want to build a business and come off your job, but right now your in the same boat as the rest of your friends and family! You will likely hear and are probably hearing many rejections right now.
All of this being said – true success and wealth with 5Linx is possible. I want you to realize that success in 5linx has more to do with your own personal marketing ability than it does with the success or growth of the company itself. It doesn’t matter if 5Linx ever folds as long as your make your money before it happens!
